It's Been a Long Off Season

It's been a long off season, but finally after all the speculation, all the what will the team look like, the day has come (and now gone) for opening day of the 2010 Major League Baseball season.
First I want to say that game one was a good game with a nice showing of power, speed and generally solid baseball. It was a disappointing loss, but hey it's only one.
I want to say that even the Baker had a shaky start, I felt he settled down and pitched decently before being pulled after 4 2/3 innings. Four runs is a bit steep, but it's only the first game, and it usually takes him a few starts to get the motor running. Over all good job by the pitchers.
As for hitting, no major complaints except for the fact, that we still seem to struggle with the bases loaded (twice), but it will come to us.
Delmon Young, holy smokes son, an impressive opening day showing, I hope you keep up this level of play. Two hits, two runs and two RBI's with a stolen base, that what we have been waiting to see.
Like I said a disappointing loss, but we have plenty of time to make up for it.
